Try these first
Re-lock the target window - most insertion misses are caused by focus loss.
Confirm microphone access in Windows Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
Test with a short phrase first to confirm transcription is working before dictating longer prompts.
Restart PromptPaste after changing audio input devices.

Active issues
PP-101
Short connector words occasionally dropped at phrase boundaries
Impact: Fast dictation phrases can occasionally drop short connector words at segment boundaries.
Workaround: Use slightly shorter phrases and pause briefly between clauses.
PP-118
UI overlap on some Windows DPI configurations
Impact: Lock and Mode controls may compress or overlap on certain display scaling setups.
Workaround: Set display scaling to 100% or 125% until the next layout fix ships.
PP-129
Low-confidence warning fires on short command snippets
Impact: Very short commands (1-2 words) may trigger the low-confidence warning more often than expected.
Workaround: Lower the confidence threshold in Settings, or temporarily disable the confidence guard.
